Algebra Roots: making math make sense
A workshop designed for students entering grades 8-10 who struggle with the basic skills necessary for success in math. We present the material in simple ways to help students gain confidence and establish the solid foundations required to master the more difficult concepts in the years to come. In addition to the pure math we'll also help students learn how to study more effectively, how to minimize test anxiety, and how to access resources that will help them learn independently in the future.
