Learning Strategies Session
An interactive workshop designed to help students learn how to learn. Students learn to be more efficient with school so they can have more free time, better grades, and fewer conflicts with parents. We discuss study skills, homework, self-assessment, time-management, testing strategies, test anxiety, communication, motivation, decision-making, prioritizing, and organization. We also help students find ways to use technology (internet, online tools, phone apps) effectively while minimizing distractions. We understand that each student is unique, so we present different options and allow students to investigate what works best for them.
